Hello!
I’m Ashleigh, the energy behind ALT-R Studio.
ALT-R is all about feeling good, moving well and being part of a friendly community.
Come and join in - I’d love to have you in class!

I’m one of those people who’s always on the go and nothing makes me happier than getting to share that buzz with others. I love motivating people, helping them feel stronger and showing that movement doesn’t have to be serious or intimidating - it can actually be fun (I promise!).
Teaching classes is my favourite thing to do. Whether we’re working hard, wobbling through a balance or laughing our way through a new exercise - I’m right there with you, guiding, cheering you on and reminding you that you’re doing better than you think.

If you like upbeat classes with an instructor who won’t let you take yourself too seriously, you’re in the right place. There’s never any pressure or judgement - just a relaxed space where everyone can enjoy moving.
It’s really important to me that classes stay small and personal so I can provide individual attention, ensure you’re moving safely and adapt things to suit your needs. I’m a big believer in good listening - your body, your goals, and your comfort always comes first.

Where to find us
Location & Parking
You’ll find us between Goad Street & Back Fox Street in Swarthmoor (LA12 0JA). We are easy to spot as the white and orange church!
For the easiest option, we recommend parking in the carpark at Swarthmoor Football Club (they have kindly allowed us to park here!), which is a 2 minute walk away. Goad Street is narrow and parking here can be tricky. There is on street parking on Park Road and Fox Street, a very short walk away.
Walking and cycling is also encouraged where possible, we would be happy to help you secure your bike.
